On the Go Snacking Ideas

February 10, 2018

I am sure like many of you, 2018 kicked off with an attempt for a healthier lifestyle. However I feel this is one goal that is easier to set then actually achieve. I mean unless you have a cook, or paying for an expensive food subscription which the kids are not eating because their is just too much GREEN stuff in it.

Therefore I have decided to slowly ease into this transition for our family and cut out a few things and replace healthier snack options. For one we kicked all soft drinks, and the candy wrappers which can usually be found curled up behind my sons bed have since been replaced with dust balls. A win for our dentist and my sanity. No one wants a kid hyped up on sugar.  Now if only I can get him to clean up the dustballs?  Asking for a lot right... I know.

If your kids are anything like mine, they are searching for a snack like ravenous littles the minute the school bell rings, and they are released into the wild.  So I am ready at the door with fun grab and go snacks. I shared my snacking tips with Channel 12 Bronx News Parenting Tips segment, take a look and let me know your thoughts.
