Get ready to Creatacard with American Greetings!

August 21, 2014

If your kids are anything like mine, they spend most of their time toggling between the iPad, and being creative with making cards to express themselves or for an actual occasion.  Birthdays and Holidays are when my little people become most creative, and it makes me quite emotional to see all the effort they put into making cards for others.

American Greetings is a name we are all very familiar with, we have all purchased cards over the years via our local drug store, etc. well they have evolved and created a free innovative new iPad app, Creatacard.

Creating a card from a blank canvas on the iPad, using features such as crayons, paint tools, stickers, and adding in personal sentiments allows you and your family the ability to create a card just right for your loved ones.

You’re not as iPad savvy as your little people?  Don’t feel bad they bank many more hours on it they we ever possibly could. Creatacard has you covered the app is equipped with step by step prompts to guide you, and your little’s through the selection of tools to the entire process of creating and personalizing your messaging.

If you are not feeling that creative, American Greetings has installed templates into Creatacard you can easily choose from.  The cards can later be printed and mailed to the recipient.

I am a fan of the app, because it eliminates wasting time at the local drug store sifting through, in search of the perfect card with the sentiment you are trying to express.  Lets face it, we are all busy moms, and I for one prefer to spend the time with my little’s creating a personal card on the iPad, then stressing over them running wild in Rite Aid!

Don’t forget Grandparents Day is September 7th, so go ahead download Creatacard, and have your little’s create and send their grandparents a card using Creatacard your parents as well as your in-laws will love you for it! The cut off date for recipients to receive their cards on time for Grandparents Day is August 28th.
